Curriculum

Keeping in view of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation the session will be spread over in two semester.
  • Semester–1 : April – September
  • Semester–2 : October – March

Formative & Summative assessment. Formative Assessment is a tool used by the teacher to continuously monitor student progress over flexible timing. It will be done throughout the academic session. There will be two Summative Assessments per academic session, in the months of September and February/March. The assessment will be carried out both for Scholastic and Co- Scholastic areas.Formative Assessment (FA) will be on the basis of Weekly Assessments & Class Activities including Home Work, Class Work and maintenance of notebooks.

The pattern of assessment & weightage is given below:
  • First Semester : PA1(10%) + Enrichment Activities (5%) + Note Book Submission (5%) + SA1 (80%) = 100%
  • Second Semester : PA2 (10%) + Enrichment Activities (5%) + Note Book Submission (5%) + SA2 (80%) = 100%

Each assessment will be indicated in grades. Students will be awarded grades on a 9 point scale as per the following scheme:

Include two formative assessments in each term.Formative Assessment (FA) will be on the basis of Weekly Assessments (for schedule refer to page 26 of the Almanac) & Class Activities including Home Work, Class Work and maintenance of notebooks. Summative Assessment (SA) will be a formal examination at the end of each term.
